Join the party and become a part of our historical festival tradition. All festival enthusiasts and visitors of earlier days are still remembering the legendary Schüttorf Festivals, which took place from 1980 to the summer of 95, as and regularly institution for best music, family community and big happening in this region.
Nearly 25 years later, in 2022 this amazing concept will be revived, expanded contemporary and evolving. Tradition and innovation determine the different facets of named music colours on several well-spaced stages at a midsummer date.
Music Minds Productions and Events GmbH Co. KG managing director Johannes Wessels: „We want to present our line-up not only well-known, established artists and music, but the same time also provide an outlook on future trends inside the global music scene. The Schüttorf festivals during the years 1980 to 1995 have a legendary call and history.
The three day happening has begun on a fairground behind the open air pool of Schüttorf and quickly became a highlight of the festival and open air culture of Germany. The festival has grown year by year and we are proud to be able to name artist like The Cure, Joe Cocker, Rod Stewart, David Bowie and ZZ Top as former stage artists.
At the peak of the festival’s history in 95 the one and only Rolling Stones started the legendary „Voodoo Lounge Tour“ at the Schüttorf Festival and 100.000 fans celebrated their songs with them.“
Schüttorf has build 15 years of music history in German and mainly intended the national festival scene. And the today promoters (Music Minds Productions and Events) are still the same as 25 years ago:
