Nigel Kennedy Herbst 2022
For more than 30 years now, Nigel Kennedy is one of the most famous and dazzling genius of classical music. In 2021 the high gifted violinist will return to Germany for 6 performances. In association with the Philharmonic Leipzig, he will give a two-part program in memory of Ludwig van Beethoven. In the first half the british star will interpret Beethoven’s concert for violin and orchestra d-dur op. 61.
The second half promises an incomparable debut, Nigel Kennedy’s concert for violin and orchestra. Kennedy’s self-written violin concerto as an homage to probably the greatest virtuoso of classical music.
